Western Australia has become one of the most exciting areas of growth for the Australian Women’s Golf Network.

Demand for events, clinics, networking and opportunities to connect continues to increase, making WA our fastest-growing region.

That growth reflects something we are seeing nationally.

Women want more ways to participate in golf beyond traditional competition structures.

They want opportunities to improve.

They want social golf.

They want access to leading clubs.

They want to meet other women who play.

And they want to feel part of a broader community.

Our WA program has been built around listening to those needs.

From clinics and networking at Lake Karrinyup Country Club to premium golf experiences and member connection, the appetite has been exceptionally strong.

Several WA events have sold out, while our local WhatsApp community continues to grow.

There is also increasing demand beyond metropolitan Perth.

Women across regional areas are telling us they want access to the same kinds of opportunities: clinics, golf days, education, travel and connection.

That creates an exciting opportunity for the next stage of AWGN’s growth.

Our model is deliberately local.

While AWGN operates nationally, we do not believe every state should look identical.

Each region has different clubs, communities, geography and member needs.

Local Ambassadors and professionals are therefore critical.

They help us understand what women in each area are asking for and ensure that programs remain relevant.

Western Australia is a strong example of what can happen when demand, local leadership, club relationships and community engagement come together.

And we believe the region still has significant room to grow.

As we look toward 2027, WA will remain an important focus for AWGN, with further opportunities across metropolitan Perth and regional Western Australia.

The growth is exciting.
