Do I have to become an AWGN member to join an event?
You are most welcome to attend an event without becoming a member if there are tickets still available. Check our LinkedIn Group for updates! Membership provides discounted pre-sale and email notifications so it’s highly recommended!
What is the VIP Invitational Event Series?
Our Members-only private club event; is the first of its kind in Australia! Please contact us to arrange a meeting to discuss this in person.
Where will my Business Feature Profile be listed?
Your Business Directory Feature Profile & Listing will be on auswomensgolf.com.au. You are welcome to provide photos or a 30-second video to include in your listing.
When do Pre-sale tickets go on sale?
Individual Members will be notified 4 weeks prior to the event date providing early access - AWGN events always sell out! Pre-sales is a limited release, for a short period of time and may sell very quickly. Invitation and access to a pre-sale is not a guarantee of securing a ticket.
How often will you promote my business on Instagram?
When you sign up to the Pro club we will request you provide a one-page summary detailing your business products and services, photos and video. Instagram Business Promotions will occur twice per year or more at the discretion of our team.
When is the Cheese & Wine Social Event?
AWGN’s Cheese & Wine Social Event is scheduled mid-year and will give you an opportunity to invite a guest and enjoy an evening of networking with other members! Showcasing regional food and wine producers we are focused on supporting local business and promoting our wonderful Australian produce.
Pro & Corporate Membership Tier Admission
All of our pro and corporate member applications will be assessed by the AWGN Team to check for suitability. Application does not guarantee membership.
Can tickets in the Pro & Corporate tiers be used interstate?
Both Pro & Corporate Members are welcome to use allocated tickets at any AWGN event in Australia. Note that accommodation for interstate events must be booked separately and is not included.
What should I wear when playing Golf?
Members Lunches - No Show Policy
Failing to give sufficient notice or not showing at all will incur a cancellation fee of $50 per person. This fee is compliant with industry standards and ACCC guidelines and is equivalent to the total value per person of the menu selected.
Membership and recurring payments.
Your membership permits you to attend AWGN events, use partner facilities, equipment and services as shown and limited by the membership tier. Your membership is non-transferable by you unless deemed appropriate by AWGN. All new memberships are subject to a cooling-off period of 5 business days. For any membership terminated validly during the cooling-off period, AWGN will refund you the total of all Membership Fees.
Recurring payments are automatic payments that occur annually when you join as an AWGN member. You can stop a recurring payment to cancel your membership anytime up to 5 days before your payment is due.
What are the benefits of my AWGN Individual Membership Card?
Your AWGN membership will provide you with access to our golf & networking events, sponsor events, future AWGN publications, Linkedin Group Membership, and professional network referrals.
Your Right to Terminate Your Membership
You can cancel your AWGN membership any time. We only issue refunds for physical incapacity or long-term illness preventing you from participating. We don’t offer refunds for renewal payments. 5 days before an annual subscription renews, we'll send you a renewal reminder email. If you don’t want your site to renew automatically, you can disable auto-renew. If you believe you’re eligible for a refund, contact us by email. We review every refund request, and aim to respond in two business days.
