Celebrating Women PGA Professionals: Rachel Campbell and the Growth of Women's Golf in Western Australia

One of the highlights of the Australian Women's Golf Network's recent visit to Western Australia was the opportunity to partner with Rachel Campbell, PGA Professional at Lake Karrinyup Country Club, for another outstanding women's clinic.

Rachel's passion for coaching and her ability to create a welcoming, supportive environment was evident throughout the afternoon. Whether members were new to the game or experienced golfers looking to refine their skills, every participant left feeling more confident, connected and inspired to continue their golfing journey.

Experiences like these are a reminder of the vital role PGA Professionals play in growing the game. Great coaches do far more than improve technique - they build confidence, encourage participation, foster friendships and create welcoming environments where women feel comfortable learning and enjoying golf.

Our visit also highlighted the incredible momentum of women's golf in Western Australia.

Lake Karrinyup Country Club has demonstrated a genuine commitment to supporting female participation through quality coaching, inclusive programming and a strong club culture. It was fantastic to see women of all ages and abilities coming together to learn, connect and enjoy the game in such a welcoming environment.

The growth of women's golf across Western Australia is something to celebrate. Clubs are investing in dedicated women's programs, PGA Professionals are creating more opportunities for women to develop their skills, and more women than ever are discovering the many physical, social and mental health benefits that golf provides.

At AWGN, we are proud to partner with PGA Professionals like Rachel Campbell, who share our vision of making golf more accessible, enjoyable and inclusive for women across Australia.

We would like to sincerely thank Rachel and the entire team at Lake Karrinyup Country Club for their warm hospitality and ongoing support of the Australian Women's Golf Network.

To all of the incredible women PGA Professionals working across Australia—thank you. Your knowledge, encouragement and leadership are helping shape the future of our game and inspiring the next generation of female golfers.

We look forward to returning to Lake Karrinyup later this month for the next clinic in our WA Fundamentals Program and continuing to grow the women's golf community together.
