With so many new faces joining our AWGN community lately, I thought I’d take a moment to say hello and share a little about the person behind the scenes!
I’m Jess, Co-Founder and Director of the Australian Women’s Golf Network, a business owner, entrepreneur, mum and someone who genuinely loves bringing people together.
Like so many women, I juggle running businesses, raising my son and trying to find that elusive work-life balance!
Five years ago, I started building AWGN with a vision that went well beyond golf.
I’ve always believed that some of life’s best opportunities come from the people we meet, the friendships we build and the conversations we have along the way.
And golf provides such a wonderful environment for all three.
What I love most about AWGN is seeing women who might never have crossed paths become friends, gain confidence, discover new opportunities and support one another. That’s what makes all the hard work worthwhile.
I’m incredibly proud of the community we’ve created, but I also know there’s so much more we can do to make golf accessible, inclusive and welcoming for women everywhere. And that’s where I’d love your input.
Whether you’re new to golf, a lifelong player, a golf club representative, an industry leader or a business interested in supporting women’s golf, I genuinely want to hear your ideas.
What’s working? What could be better? What opportunities are we missing? I’m always open to feedback, fresh perspectives and conversations about how we can continue moving women’s golf forward.
